What's the main difference between an Immigration Attorney and an Immigration Form Specialist?
Attorneys are legally allowed to represent their clients' interests and advice on legal issues. To practice any kind of law whether it is federal or state, the attorney must be legally admitted to practice and in good standing with the State Bar. Immigration Form Specialists are not attorneys, they cannot represent a client nor can they provide any kind of legal advice. Immigration Form Specialists are only allowed to assist with the filing and translations of the immigration forms at the request of the client.

No. MJL is not a law firm nor does it make any representations that it provides any kind of legal assistance or gives any legal advice. If an attorney is requested or required I will gladly refer you to one.

MJL firmly believes that a client's time is valuable which is why MJL re-invests in training and updating with the continuing education demanded to provide this type of service.
